Pinnaroo Cemetery

When Brisbane City Council asked TLCC to construct Pinnaroo Cemetery’s Missing Persons Memorial, we delivered an accessible, round tiled fountain with a unique, stainless steel sculptural centrepiece. A circular pool was initially formed, poured and tiled before a honed, pre-cast capping gave an elegant finish. Running adjacent to the fountain, a curved off-form wall allows for the placement of memorial plaques, and lower off-form walls offer visitors a place to rest. Around the fountain, coloured concrete pavements provide pedestrian access and link the memorial to the car park – giving easy access to the fountain and plaque walls for people of all abilities.
